Students of two faculties of the University of West Bohemia visited the machinery division of STREICHER Plzeň

On Monday, 26 February, we welcomed the students of the third year of the bachelor's degree programme Applied Physics at the Faculty of Applied Sciences of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen and their colleagues from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, who will soon complete their further studies in the programme Materials and Technologies for Electrical Engineering.

Visit of students of the University of West Bohemia

They are connected by the course Introduction to Plasma Technologies, which they will take at the Department of Physics under the guidance of Jiří Čapek. He is not only a teacher at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, but also a member of the committee of the Czech Vacuum Society. The vacuum equipment that STREICHER Plzeň develops and manufactures is therefore not unknown to him.

Due to the professional focus of the participants, this time there were no vacuum experiments. We introduced our company, guided the students through the production facilities and presented the possibilities of cooperation during and after the study.

We reminded them that thanks to the internship with us they will get contact with practice, have the opportunity to work on real projects and learn from experienced professionals. In addition, they will earn extra money and, if the work with us makes sense to them, they can go all out after graduation.

Belonging to the world of STREICHER means working in a company where individuality is welcome, where everyone has an integral role to play and professional development is not just an empty phrase.

Thank you for your visit and we look forward to future cooperation.
