What brought you to STREICHER?
In fact, it was fate. I moved around a lot when I was younger and eventually settled here in Štěnovice. At that time, a former colleague from a previous job was already working at STREICHER as an HR specialist. As I was new to the area, she approached me and asked whether I could occasionally teach German, interpret, or translate for STREICHER while on maternity leave. And that’s how I ended up staying.
What does your job involve and what do you enjoy about it?
My job is very diverse, which suits me perfectly. I am responsible for organising trade fairs, searching for and preparing tenders, managing the website, taking care of customers as well as customer and competitor databases, creating quotations, financial management, and project analysis. I also work very closely with the marketing team on organising company events and preparing promotional items and marketing materials, and much more. Every day is different; I never know what awaits me. There is certainly no room for routine or boredom.
Do you think STREICHER is different from other companies in our region?
For me, it is more than just a company – it feels like one big family. There are truly amazing people working here, so there is always a reason to look forward to coming to work. I believe this friendly atmosphere is genuinely unique. And what continues to amaze me is the incredible technological masterpieces that leave our gates and make their way all around the world.
