Who is Radka?

What brought you to STREICHER in the first place?

My previous work at a government agency was not fulfilling. Even though I still work in administration now, the nature and scope of the work is different because of the focus on the technical sector and industry in which STREICHER operates.

I enjoy working for an employer where the result of my work and the work of my colleagues can be seen in the products that we make and which go to our customers' companies where they fulfil meaningful functions.

Is administration different in our company?

The paperwork is the same. Archiving of documents such as invoices, orders, and delivery notes for a single order number is currently done in paper and digital format, so we are working on a system to convert all documents into digital format.

I believe that digital archiving will make it faster and easier for us to check, search, and share data. Above all, it will relieve us of tedious manual searching.

What are your working hours?

I work from 6:30 AM to 3:15 PM which suits me, as I prefer to wake up early because it gives me plenty of time in the afternoon for my own activities.

What advice would you give to someone considering a similar job?

Do not be afraid of boredom. This job is not all paperwork. It also involves communicating with different company departments and completing of a variety of tasks to ensure all products are dispatched smoothly to customers.
